1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using astarrestoration.com ("the Site"), you ("user", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
2. Nature of the Service
A-Star Restoration operates as a restoration contractor referral and matching platform serving homeowners in Texas. A-Star Restoration does not directly perform water damage restoration, fire damage restoration, mold remediation, sewage cleanup, storm damage restoration or any other on-site restoration work. All on-site work is performed by independent, IICRC-certified, licensed and insured restoration contractors ("Contractor Partners") in each Texas service area.
When you submit a restoration request, A-Star Restoration forwards your contact information and damage details to one or more Contractor Partners in your service area who may then contact you to provide an estimate or dispatch a crew.
3. No Warranty or Guarantee of Work
A-Star Restoration does not guarantee any specific outcome, repair quality, completion date, cost, insurance claim approval or contractor availability. All restoration agreements, scope-of-work documents, payment terms, warranties and liability are between you (the homeowner) and the Contractor Partner you choose to engage. You are responsible for verifying the licensing, insurance and certification of any Contractor Partner before authorizing work on your property.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a legal property owner, tenant authorized to engage restoration services, or a designated representative to submit a restoration request through the Site.
5. User Submissions
When submitting information to A-Star Restoration, you represent that:
- All information you provide is accurate and complete
- You have the legal authority to authorize a restoration visit or estimate for the property described
- You consent to be contacted by phone, SMS or email by A-Star Restoration or Contractor Partners regarding your request
6. Pricing & Estimates
Any pricing information, cost calculators or estimates displayed on the Site are illustrative ranges only. Actual restoration costs depend on the specific damage, scope, contractor, region and other factors, and are determined solely by the Contractor Partner after on-site assessment. Cost calculator output is not a binding quote.
7. Insurance Claim Information
A-Star Restoration provides general educational information about insurance carrier claim processes for informational purposes only. A-Star Restoration is not affiliated with State Farm, Allstate, USAA, Farmers, Liberty Mutual or any other insurance carrier. Carrier names are used only to help homeowners identify claim resources. A-Star Restoration does not handle, negotiate or settle insurance claims on your behalf.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including text, images, logos, graphics, page layout and code — is the property of A-Star Restoration or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify or create derivative works without prior written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, A-Star Restoration, its officers, employees, agents and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the Site; (b) any restoration work performed by a Contractor Partner; (c) any insurance claim outcome; or (d) any property damage, personal injury or financial loss arising from a Contractor Partner's services. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Site is to stop using it.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless A-Star Restoration, its officers, employees and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of your use of the Site or your engagement with any Contractor Partner.
11. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites. A-Star Restoration is not responsible for the content, accuracy, privacy practices or terms of any third-party site.
12. Modifications
A-Star Restoration may modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas.
